This shoot was based on Nadine Merabi's Darcy Leopard Pajamas. With both leopard print & animal photography being extremely trendy, I wanted to incorporate these themes into the shoot. The idea is that this is an exclusive yet illusive pj party where only the "big cats" are invited. Big cats being people that exude power, feline femininity & grace.

December of 2023, I hosted my first ever Seattle-based fashion networking & community event. The theme for the event was a retro holiday party, so this shoot was to bring the theme of the party to light.

Print & digital media playing on Bottega Veneta's Intrecciato (woven) element that they are known for; found in their shoes, bags, home goods & more. I love that these pieces incorporate a core feature of Bottega Veneta's products as well as illustrates a puzzle requiring the consumer to unpacking & decipher what is contained within each image.
First image is hand woven & the rest following are digitally woven with Photoshop.
One of my favorite projects to date came from a rented Nadine Merabi pj set, thirty minutes of shooting & 3 or so hours of editing.

"Do you know when I first moved to New York and I was totally broke, sometimes I'd buy Vogue instead of dinner. I just felt it fed me more!" - Carrie Bradshaw. Bring one of the most iconic lines from Sex in the City to life.

Moschino jeans are not just fashion, they're functional too! This fun video was intended to inspire consumers to look at their clothes in a new light and to experiement with form & function.
A Loewe campaign extracting the design of the garment & placing it atop the media. The Loewe Natural Neutral And Hand Print Dress has been all the talk in pop culture with Beyonce wearing a custom Loewe piece inspired by the design during her Renaissance World Tour and with Viola Davis wearing it on the cover of ELLE Magazine Brazil.

2023 indicated economic turbulence & uncertainty leading to a slowdown in the fashion and luxury sector. This led to many aspirational shoppers, like myself, to cut back on spending. Though, a tough economic market doesn't take the 'aspirational' out of the consumer.
Paper Dolls have been around since the early 1800s & gained popularity in the mid-19th century & early 20th century as a way for little girls to style their extensive paper wardrobe. These wardrobes were a way for children to play our their aspirational lifestyle.
The hashtag Jacquemus Paper Doll Collection was a project created to rope in the lessened, or rather lost, market of aspirational shoppers. To build up the excitement around Jacquemus pieces & runway collections in an accessible way so in the coming months & years, when the market turns around, these lost consumers can go from aspirational to acquired.

For Lizzie Fortunato, a fun, playful, luxury jewelry brand to capitalize on the insanely viral hashtag#Tiktokshop product, a product you can't go longer than a few swipes before seeing it on your Tiktok feed again, Buldak Ramen noodles. Consumers are raving about the creamy, gooey, full of favor ramen - all things that could be said about Lizzie Fortunato's Monument ring collection. Eight different colors and variations with bright translucent glass or more opaque creamy colors.
Living in close proximity to a District H, I've been a beloved consumer of Buldak ramen for a good amount of time now - beware of the spice level! During my time at Recurate, I learned of Lizzie Fortunato & became a fan of their artistic pieces & enthusiasm behind circular fashion.
These two combined would be an unexpected collaboration - but those are the type of partnerships that get everyone talking... right?

At the intersection of marketing & fashion design, this street flyer elevates the traditional tear-off flyer from bland & basic to on-brand & unique. This print plays on a pattern A.W.A.K.E. MODE has become known for, used in the Upcycled Denim Multicircle dress (https://lnkd.in/gvkFW6GK) & the Mulitcircle Asymetric dress in Black (https://lnkd.in/gArtXjSk).
The Pop-up store utilizes this marketing to not only spread the word on the newly opened store, but to build brand awareness (recognition of brand patterns) & incentivizing consumer to shop the store by incorporating the location of the pop-up & a discount to be used as a validation ticket upon checkout. The tear-off circles are 1. a unique way to grab the consumers attention & 2. allows the users to take a little piece of A.W.A.K.E. MODE, eventually trading it in for a real A.W.A.K.E. MODE piece.

I explored ideas of creating a "natural" DIY-esque toner by mashing up tomatoes & applying the juices to your face. That idea then led to a person with a "tomato" face (flushed cheeks & skin) due to the toner applied to the face. This then led me to the concept of tomato skin. Think of the skin of a tomato -- soft as ever, right? I bet you money every skincare user would love to have skin as soft as a tomato.
This brought me full circle: a tomato #skincare line including toner (of course), cleanser (as toner is applied after a cleanser) and finally hyaluronic acid, why? An acidic #skincareproduct was needed to compliment the acidity of a tomato - duh! All used to achieve the perfectly desirable tomatoey soft skin.
As an avid user of Glow Recipe + their use of fruits in their skincare products, it was an easy decision to tie the two together. Introducing Glow Recipe Tomato Skin: Tomatoey Soft. Clinically Effective. Perfectly Flushed.

I ask my social following to give me two random words & I would create an image campaign around those words. Marissa left the words: pearl & blanket.
As a fashion lover, of course I had to tie these words back to the fashion industry, and so I give you LV: Blanketed in Pearls.
I've been a huge fan of Pharrel Williams work at Louis Vuitton and felt this mens wear collection of streetwear, #handbags, and pearls fit well with Pharrel's portfolio.
